  • D.Psy, D.Ps. or Psy.D. programs are professional doctoral programs that train practitioners. Although they include some research work, the research component is not sufficient for these programs to be eligible for FRQSC research training awards. To be considered research-based, a master’s program must lead to the writing of a research paper and a doctoral program must lead to the writing of a thesis.
